Local Primary Schools Visits
Over the last few weeks our Deputy Laboratory Manager, Laura and Senior Embryologist, Jane have attended local primary schools to present on the topics of science and ‘superhero jobs’.
Laura & Jane talked to the children describing how Embryologists are Clinical Scientists and how they help people to have babies.
They showed the children pictures of the embryology laboratory, embryos throughout their development and the team of doctors, nurses, embryologists and office members at our clinic who make it all possible.
We also provided the school with some scientific equipment to help the children with learning science through play.
The children thoroughly enjoyed learning about the work our Clinical Scientists do, which fitted in perfectly with the school’s curriculum.
Not only do we help families have much longed-for babies, but we enjoy educating children in the years beyond too.
